Alex is a HUGE fan of cookie butter; like eat a whole jar and only kinda regret it later type of fan. It was only natural that the Active Indulgence team had to take this winning topping (cookie butter > everything else) and turn it into a recipe that was "macrofied."

Simple, easy, and ungodly delicious. This will be the new, "I put that sh*t on everything" recipe. You're welcome.

Note: this recipe can be adapted for any type of cookie that you want (we used the same recipe and swapped out graham crackers for Nilla wafers).

Ingredients:

  • 8 graham crackers sheets

  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein - We use Myprotein which you can purchase here. Very affordable and tastes great. Get a discount when you use coupon code "activeindulgence" at checkout.

  • 1 tbsp Land o' Lakes lite butter w/ canola oil

  • 1/3 cup CarbMaster Vanilla Milk - this can be purchased at any Kroger store.

Directions:

  1. In a food processor, process the graham crackers until they turn into a powder (if you prefer crunchy cookie butter, leave some chunks).

  2. Add the remaining ingredients and continue to process until a smooth batter forms. For a thinner consistency, add additional milk as desired.

  3. Enjoy as a dip, on pancakes or waffles, or with a spoon all by itself!

Active Indulgence Tips:

#1

"Macrofied": The process of manipulating ingredients to produce a better nutritional profile, usually involving increasing protein while controlling or decreasing carbs and fats.

#2

Truvia, or erythritol, is a sugar alcohol that tastes like sugar but has very few calories. It is absorbed almost entirely in the small intestine and is excreted through urine. Erythritol has been deemed safe for consumption, and does not cause digestive issues like other sugar alcohols in quantities less than 50g per day.
